October 2008 QUOTE OF THE MONTH: "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." - John Muir, Submitted by Dana Dizon, Richmond High School

Body stretched over land’s end
200 feet above treacherous tides,
Cables suspending between two towers
Planks cast and molded together with cold orange steel,
Rods and arches support the structure.

Evening’s darkness contrasts moonlight night
Stars sparkle reflect water’s gentle glisten,
Fog begins its migration across land’s red orange connection,
Color added to aged black and white picture.

Man’s creation no complete beauty without nature’s interaction.
