What Makes the World Go Round?

What is it that makes the world go round?
Well look around, look up and down
It's everything working as one
The sweet scent of the island breeze
The comforting presence of the large trees
The serene blue skies
The pillows that dance across
Playing peak-a-boo with the sun
One day that bright sun appears
The next it's gone
Instead rain and thunder overcome
The strong aroma of mud and wet clothes fill the room
Everyone hoping this storm will go soon
But alas moments pass
The sky as we knew it has changed
The clouds have rearranged
Beautiful breathless flowers start to emerge
Colors of the rainbow spring from the grass
Showers bring flowers and yet it is true
There is always a rainbow that shines after the rain
All the pain is temporary
There is hope that one day the sun will shine again.
