December rain falls from the clouds and drips off of the blue steel poles of my school to create giant treacherous puddles whose only desire is to ruin my brand new boots. Wet asphalt has never smelled so awful. I try to hide under over hangs ad hoodies but I know eventually the rain and I will meet. By this time my shoes will be a darker shade of black. Even worse, by the time I get home and look in the mirror to see the new frizzy creature that has made my head it's new home I will know that the rain has won again.
