SPLASH! I jump in the deep puddle
I take his hand and we run
Some people hate the rain
I know in movies it almost always rains in sad scenes
So some people think it’s depressing
But not us
We always have a grand time in the rain
We stop running since we’re out of breath [panting]
Both of us laugh for a moment [HAHAHA!]
Then look up at the sky
I catch drops on my tongue
He just stands there with his eyes close
When we both feel up to it
We go from holding hands to linking arms
We skip and we look at each other
We smile and sing
We unlink our arms and dance
We then stop dancing and look into each other’s eyes still singing
Oh how we love the rain!
