What is it that makes us do what we do?
Is it greed, power, and selfishness?
This society tells us to cater our moods,
But shouldn't it be more than this?

What are the needs of others?
Does the planet also need our help?
The earth is our undying mother,
And its pain can plainly be felt.

But things can be done to stop this waste.
A dedicated few can make a difference.
We have to get out there and educate,
'Cuz the earth depends on our assistance

We need to "step it up," and it's clear it can be done.
All we need is to get off our butts, but, hey it might be fun.
