What do we do when the air is stifled with smog?
When all the trees have turned to logs?
Smoke rises towards a metal sky
And everything starts to die
The water is no longer clear
Garbage floats along a filthy pier
Ice caps melt and submerge the land
It’s our life; we need to take a stand
Recycle, conserve energy, do all that you can
It’s everyone’s responsibility, not just one man
What happens when the world just gives up?
Because we didn’t try hard enough
We had such clear guidelines
And we saw all the signs
Everyone knew the world would end one day
But we didn’t know it would happen this way
Pollution is our enemy
And we let it win us over
