Was the grass starts to grow
People start to know and realize
That they can make a difference
This world in which we live
It’s our home, its all we have
A change is what we strive
Trying to make a good life
Look around
do you see the flower and trees?
Our environment only affects us
We need to do better and then just trust
That our efforts have made a change
Trying to rearrange the damages we’ve made
Earth needs our attention
It needs our help
So as the grass grows
Remember this:
Not everything is so gay and bliss
Shortage around the world
Global warming is real, it’s not a myth
Can’t believe that it’s come to this
Living like we live
How can we be, knowing there’s poverty?
Poverty appearing, these eyes are tearing
The amount of pollution caused by such chemicals
Pollution all around
On the ground, in the air, in the sea
Near the birds and the trees
We need change
We need improvement
Difference needs to be made
The grass is growing but at the same time
The grass on the other side is dead
Yet all we notice is the growing grass . . .
