Two non-profitable groups "Music For Relief "and "Unite The United" got together and did something about the California wildfires that left thousands of people homeless and the landscapes damaged. What they did is they put together a music group auction with the money going directly to helping those affected by the wildfires and to reforesting the burned areas. People can bid on great things from bands like Linkin Park, Green Day, My Chemical , Romance, and Taking Back Sunday.
These bands and others like Rise Against have found their environmental conscience. Everything they do they try to make it as environmental as possible. They use bio-diesel oil when they on tour and travel to other states or countries. They wrote music about the environmental problems we are facing today. In these bands' music videos they visualize the environmental problems. And being the most popular bands today they can direct a lot of our focus on these problems.
Green Day and the Natural Resources Defense
Council (NRDC) teamed together to form the best
environmental group ever. Even the Green Day
singer Billy Joe's wife is speaking out about
making an impact on the world and global warming.
